Looking back to the 2012-2013 Year

2012-2013 was a transition year. Looking back, the year spent as COO was surely a learning experience for me: of the importance of publicity, of setting reachable goals, and of communicating effectively with team members. Last year, we organized plenty of visitations and community drives; this year, we are looking to undertake more creative projects while keeping those classic programs under our belt.

The executive officers and I have high hopes for this coming 2013-2014 year, and we’re working hard to make them become a reality. More than anything, we are looking to continue building our ties to the community through our growing sense of responsibility, compassion, and drive. I truly believe that us students have a duty to give back to the community, and what better way to do so than through a student-led organization?

I look forward to seeing familiar faces and plenty of new ones on this journey!

Cheers,

Alice Zhou, CEO
